Southern States University (SSU) is a private American university founded in 1983 in Southern California. The university offers a variety of programs for business oriented professionals – including an Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AAB), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and a Bachelor's Completion Program in Business Administration (resulting in a BBA). In addition, Southern States University offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) professional graduate degrees.

All certificate and degree programs offered by Southern States University have been approved by the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, whose approval standards are among the most rigorous of any state in the USA. Southern States University is also a member of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools.

Southern States University also offers a full spectrum of Intensive English Courses, from introductory English to TOEFL preparation. For non-English speakers, we can combine an Intensive English program with a degree program to allow you to advance at your own pace.You can do all of this while living in beautiful Southern California, or you can take some courses online, using our e-learning portal.

Southern States University is authorized by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to issue the legal documents required to obtain a student Visa (SEVIS approved I-20).
