SSU Scholarship Terms and Conditions
1) Raffle open to individuals who are 18 years of age and older as of July 1, 2008.
2) This scholarship giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
3) No purchase required to enter.
4) If technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the scholarship giveaway, the University reserves the right to void suspect entries and conduct a random drawing to award the scholarships using all known eligible non-suspect entries received as of July 25, 2008.
5) Acceptance of an SSU scholarship constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, location (city and state) and likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation.
6) Entrants (and their parents/legal guardians) agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of SSU, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion.
7) Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion.
8) Winner names and locations by city or town, and state, may be mailed/e-mailed to all entrants requesting such information, and may also be posted on the SSU website.
9) All contact attempts shall be made to the email and/or phone number provided by the scholarship entry form on the SSU website.
10) TAXES AND IRS RULES: The winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the scholarship. Government rules governing withholding can change without notice. Check with your qualified financial advisor for additional information.
WAIVER: By entering this promotion, participant (and participant’s parent/legal guardian) waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages other than actual out-of pocket costs incurred to enter. By entering the Raffle, the participant acknowledges that he or she is aware of and agrees with the official rules.
